It would be very sad if Barb's board was to finally end for whatever reason as it has been a focul point for many who share this interest we all have. I think we all owe Barb a great deal for giving us a place to chat to each other and her intelligence, charm and warmness plus her impressive intellect has acted as a beacon in the midst of you rabble of bounders. I always admired her spirit and intelligence as a person. She's even a member here if you take a look through the members list. :)
This Femfight Community Message Board was designed by me with the express purpose of providing a platform for promoters of the femfight industry and people who have a shared interest to have a place to communicate if ever they needed somewhere to use as a means of chatting to each other and staying in touch.
I do hope Barb's board continues, but if it should be taken down then anyone and everyone is welcome to use this one if they find it of use.
The Combative Women's Website, which has been in continuous existence for nearly 12 years will close during the last week in August. The message boards that were always accessible here and were removed in June will not be returned to service.
I'll have a few things to say about this closing sometime in August. For now, thank you for your friendship and support.
I agree ... a very sad day to think about Barb's board not being there any longer.
Checking the site last night before I went to bed just to see if it was finally up again I was knocked on my ass when I read it would not return. As corny or silly as it might sound, I'm serious when I say it was like getting news that you lost a very close friend.
Barb seems serious about it ... like she's planned it and had her mind made up to do this for awhile. I'm just surprised that someone else wasn't in line ready to pick up where she left off with it being so important to so many fans and producers for so long. This is what's scary about the whole thing ...
Man, what a void there will be without Barb's site.
Mr Dio , we all appreciate you running this place and hope if Barb's site actually does go down ( geez, maybe I'm in a coma and this is all just a bad dream while I'm out ... ) we all can still meet up here to discuss our common interests in female combat, review sites / DVD's and announce live events.
I'll help Dio contact some producers, wrasslers etc. so we can get the ball rollin over here if he'd like. The sudden chatter @ Dio's is promising and hopefully people will give this place a chance. I'll even be nice for a while!
