Fighting Dolls Videos FD0148 (oil catfight) and FD0035 (wrestling grass jeans)

 As a prelude, a word or two about my own tastes to better allow you to apply these thumbnail sketches to your own potential purchases.  I have an unshaken belief in a term I have appropriated from Major League Baseball: the Mendoza Line. This is the attractiveness threshold below which a performers presence in an erotic video cannot be justified. As an inevitable result of this, I will sacrifice brutal action at the altar of beauty. Put simply, I dont care how hard they fight if they aint hot enough for arousal. If they cant activate the launch sequence, my credit card stays in my wallet.

Both May-Ann and Denise are well above the Mendoza Line. And to my own way of thinking, they fight their hearts out.  If I am to be quite picky, Mary-Ann has gained a couple of pounds around her ass sine her halcyon days at DWW, and has an unnerving facial resemblance to Anna Gunn, Walter Whites wife on Breaking Bad. Denise has a slight mannish quality to her face, but her body is hard as a rock. Both have enhanced breasts, giving their bodies what I refer to as a certain heroic look.

I have lumped these two videos together because in terms of content, they are quite similar. In fact, the primary differences are locale (grass vs. mat), attire (jeans vs. nude) and  fighting style ( wrestling vs. oil catfight). I dont think I am giving anything away by saying in both videos, Denise beats the snot out of a game but over-matched Mary-Ann. It becomes very quickly about how much Mary-Ann can take of what Denise has in abundance to dish out.

Having bought about 40 FD videos since their unveiling a few months ago, the aggression level we have all come to expect from DWW remains intact. The main divergence is that Marek has adopted is the addition of and crotch attacks.

Myself, I look at female fighting videos as providing high octane erotic moments, rather than as competitive matches with inherent strategy and tactics. Give me a few of these moments, and I am happy with my purchase. Both these videos contain such moments. Two examples: at the 7;20 mark of the oil match, Denise has Mary-Ann stretched out from behind, giving a great view of Mary-Ann in a fully dominated position. One hand squeezes a breast, the other attacks the crotch. Very nice. A more subtle but to me even more erotic moment is at the 1;12 mark of the wrestling match on grass. Following a breast-to-breast stare down, the women break apart to begin wrestling. This moment shows the difference between the women: Mary-Ann shows a bit of apprehension, while Denise is on the balls of her feet, moving with the uncommon grace and fluidity of a serious athlete. Just look at her move as she aligns her shoulders. Look at her gait as she readies to engage. . Its reminiscent of the way Aleeta Johnston moved prior to the first fight in War Goddess.

I give high marks to both fights. Like I say, the differences have less to do with the fights than with the surroundings and attire. But both will make a fine addition to appreciators of good looking women fighting their hearts out.

Here's a friendly face, or at least, keyboard! How are things, Ofecteau? Its been a while since I last ran into you, and that was before Bruce's untimely and sad demize. Im pleased to see you still care enough to share your views and opinions with other fem fight fans; you always make for entertaining reading with your appreciation and passion for womens wrestling. I joined this forum hoping to find some lively discussion; Bruce's forum has been in decline for many months which is a shame as there are too few platforms for fans to have their say.

Redmanx:

    Look for others, all of whom write well and are keen observers, to start posting on this forum. They will be familiar to you as well.

    There is a hole to fill with respect to female fighting forums. This is the logical place.

    Now if we can just get Dio to put down his Battenberg cake, recruit a few of his chatty friends, and start posting himself, this will be the lively forum we have all been looking for.

Apprehension: what a perfect term, and one of Mary-Ann's most endearing qualities.  I recall at her former employer the stunning blonde would sometimes even look a little self-conscious when taking her top off in front of the camera, as though not entirely confident of how hot she was.  There's something very real and intimate about Mary-Ann appearing slightly outside her comfort zone for my benefit.

As with the best audio reviewers, I appreciate your disclosure of personal preferences, Ofecteau.  In some appropriate context it might be instructive for us to get more granular about the attractiveness threshold.  Here are two women who are well above it (Mary-Ann more deservedly so for me); elsewhere we've discussed creatures that are leagues under it, and I mean not the video store threshold but the pet store threshold.  Sometime we should talk about the marginal cases: the Kaley Cuocos of erotic wrestling.

Pesky bounders disturbing my slumber!

I would summarize the proposition you put forward as follows:

'I choose not to purchase female fight related products which feature women I do not find attractive.'

I agree, and Im sure you'll agree that we all have subjective scales of determining which females we find attractive and which females we dont find attractive; though I would not agree with those who are of the opinion that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. Influencing our purchases we also have a guessed appraisal scale of aggression that plays as a factor in our decision to purchase. On similar lines we could also add a fourth factor, that of the level of authenticity. We then have a fifth scale of influence that focusses on the content of the fight, i.e. what particular activities occur in a fight that peek our personal interest. Finally, attire.

So to put forward an hypothesis, lets now set up the three elements of criteria that influence in varying degrees what determines a purchase of a female fight related product:

1) Attractiveness (Sexual attraction to the women)

2) Aggression (How aggressive the fight is)

3) Authenticity (How genuinely competitive or as a sub category to this, how similar to a real fight)

4) Content (Themes or particular actions that cause sexual arousal)

5) Attire (What clothing items they are wearing, or lack of)

There may be other factors that I have left out of the list above that I am not at this moment aware of, but as a provisional list these seem to be the determining factors that are either used or not used and work at varying levels of importance in the choice a femfight fan makes when determining whether to purchase a product.

The example you give indicates how me and you agree and disagree in personal taste. I love Mary Ann, she is stunning. And she is a very entertaining catfighter. But Ive never been a fan of Denise, though I am aware that many are fans of Denise. Whereas I find Mary Ann attractive, I dont find Denise attractive and that is why I have very few catfights in my collection featuring Denise. A few from when she was younger, but non from recent years.

But Id never disagree with anyone citing the Denise vs. Mary Ann fight is a very good fight. But for me the (1) factor prevents me from purchase. But put Mary Ann against Kim Ly, and you have me drooling and in a state of adoration. Id go:

1 = 9

2 = 8

3 = 10

4 = 8

5 = 9

For me Fighting Dolls is what we all knew as DWW. Whoever moved over to Fighting Dolls was the talent at DWW. DWW now no longer has that talent any more, but is left with an incredibly impressive back catalogue of terrific female fights.

The Denise vs. Mary Ann fight looks great and Im sure many fans will fully agree with your perceptive, knowledgeable, and informative appraisal of the fight.

 Thanks for the invite, Ofecteau.

The Academy board **** the bed when Bruce passed, as far as I know it is not being moderated anymore (I'll check on that). It looks like the end is near for Academy.....

Good to see you back here, Paulzzy. I know you were active here after the crash of the FCF board a few years ago.

I remember that old board, and have read posts on this board after its crash. Really great posts by some really interesting people. Dr. Chin, Bear, Lord Grant, yourself, Sketch, Dio Himself and my old running buddy Diogenes (Tomas). Just a theory, but I tend to think the better writers gravitate to the more erotic content rather than the all-out brutality approach. I am sure these people still have the interest, but where has everyone gone? The FCF board, as far as smart folks dealing with actual female fighting, has all but ground to a halt, taken over by men pretending to be women and women (I think) who are way scarier.

I am just looking for an outlet where guys like you and me and Moog and Redmanx, and I sure hope others to join, will have a place to intelligently discuss our shared interest. Not make it our whole social life like so many on FCF, and where we don't have to pretend to be anything other than who we are and discuss what we like.
