Apparently they just finished the World Gravy Wrestling Championship, held at the Rose 'n' Bowl pub in Stacksteads, Lancashire (hope I spelled that right, just copying from another source). The women's winner was 23 year old Emma Slater, a ring card girl who entered at the last moment. Here's a couple of pics from a celeb gossip site. No sign of Dio in the background tho . . . whither our guy?

That's a coincidence. I only got around to researching this last night.
I noticed the story in the Metro newspaper with a nice photo of the women's champion Emma Slater 23 grappling with her opponent.
I was hoping to find a Youtube video of her wrestling match but the nearest I got was this video which shows two other women aggressively fighting each other earlier in the women's tournament:
Now if you take a look at the video above at 43 seconds in you witness how competitive the women are fighting. You can see Emma in the sexy red santa costume standing behind. Now Emma only entered the tournament late when one woman dropped out and numbers needed to be made up. Emma was only there in the capacity of being a round card girl.
But what's got me thinking is that if these aggressive big women were fighting as competitively as what is show in the video above, how much more aggressively must the sexy and shapely Emma have fought to beat them all and become women's champion? Impressive girl. I only wished there had been some footage of her wrestling.
Alas, we only have the photos of her taking down her larger female opponent in the wrestling pool:

Well, after whipped cream, chocolate syrup, cabbage patch, and all the other farcical food fads that have come and gone (or come and continue, ... and continue, ... and continue, ...) out there ...
What can I say ? ...
The pics given by both DC and Dio are all first-class and I suppose considering it's pub fare fem gravy wrestling is OK but I'm not much of a fan of this.
Fem gravy wrestling, esp. in their clothes ? ...
Enjoyable, ... maybe, ... but stupid & dumb, imho.
If there's a good aroma it might make me hungry for some Beef Wellington or something like that but not for more of this.
