If you haven't yet installed this browser go and do so immediately - for a problem free computer. I am sick of reinstalling Windoze into the computers of everyone I know, except for me of course, my computer/s seem to run perfectly. Keep Java and Active X disabled at all times - you can quickly enable Java for popup boxes when you need to - like when you click on a mess board 'add link' or something like that.
I have been using this browser for nearly a year now - no spybots, no adware, nothing, it doesn't allow anything to install and run itself in the background. It only allows you to look at web pages, which is all you really want to do anyway.
I thought there was something wrong with my cable connection, turned out to be IE. Now, everything is blazing fast again, as it should be.
Also, tab browsing is far better than IE. It's a little different, takes some getting used to, but well worth the small effort.
Don't use IE - too many security holes.
