(As of 7-27-07, Yahoo! might still be resolving problems with its updating, and that might currently include a sign-in problem.

If you're having sign-in problems with any of Yahoo!'s features, try entering Yahoo! by signing in through Yahoo! Messenger, here.

Just lettin' ya' know ...)

It still amazes me that people have patience with Yahoo. Their web directory is at least six months behind the latest developments, their web search is nowhere near as effective as Google, and it seems that not a single soul in their spam-infested discussion groups knows how to format a simple text message. It may make me a dinosaur, but I honestly believe Usenet was the best forum for public discussions. (I say "was" even though it's still around.) Of course, since nobody made any money off it, nobody advertised it, and it was superseded by vastly inferior commercial technology.
