The most interesting in this new update are new clips of Zahra vs. Sybil Starr match which pits a rising american star against a much older opponent from Germany. A good specimen of competitive wrestling between two tough women.

I like their site and have purchased from them with great satisfaction in the past, but, still, scrolling down their archive of update announcements, one can't help but wonder if Fightingstyle's main recruitment base isn't some exotic tattoo parlour.

Yeah, though it now seems the 'cool' thing to do among quite a few girls, the tatoo thing has gotten to be too much in some cases. What started out as a small butterfly or flower on the foot or lower back has turned into a living advertisement for the tatoo artist.

A great sex fight company has even taken one of they're popular competitors off their list because her tatoo's got out of hand. It's the girl's choice of course but wonder if they realize that taken to extremes, it's a turn-off for alot of people. It's hard enough to have a small one taken off .... I hope these girls with 75% of their bodies covered in ink know it doesn't wash off with some special soap and that this art work is not going to look so good when they aren't in top shape years from now.

But if the extreme tatoos don't bother you, FS has some of the best stuff out there ; probably the best buy for the money in a monthly subscription. I could personaly do without the 'beach' and 'surf' settings and be happy with everything on a mat but they try to satisfy everyone.

I'm not aware of the unique evening settings for matches at other companies live events, and in my opinion it's a great, sexy touch to the whole thing.

I'll have to re-suscribe .... it's been too long. The last time I was a member there was this incredible catfight match going on between Khati and Nike. Man, I never saw the intensity turned on like that between two girls ! Standing together smiling one second and at the word 'Go' slapping the **** out of each other like they're lives dependied on it .... spectacular ! I have to see how that turned out :>)

True. Unfortunately, it's particularly the strongest fighters who prefer to decorate themselves this way, e.g. Kathy-from- London

Maybe it's coincidence, maybe there's a real correlation between a woman being willing to have a dye-filled needle assail her for hours on end and her being willing to fight another woman one on one. In any case, I still can't shake my preconceived and surely false idea that a tattooed body signals recklessness and rebellion, and I expect reckless and rebellious women to be good fighters.

For my tastes I don't have a problem with most TrampStamps (i.e. the ones that go across the lower back that you always run your tongue over when removing her thong...) but some of these women have just gone buck wild ****ing their bodies up with a bunch of crap that just makes them look freakish and trashy. I've seen some unbelievably beautiful bodies that have been ruined by an over-abundance of tats...so maybe I'm biased. At any rate, the good news is that it looks like there's going to be a Women's Wrestling convention this September (see Sleeperkids site). Now for the bad news..One of the main wrestlers willl be Hurricane Havana - as in outdated fake pro-style crap and "tasteful costumes" that don't excite or titilate evil horny perverted men who actually have the nerve to become aroused at the thought or site of 2 women engaged in FvsF. I'm not sure if any of you remember -

1. The rant she went on against catfight and topless/nude competition (which is a bit more understandable when you're the proud owner of a breast job that looks like it was done by Edward ScissorHands...on crack) or

2. The complete failure of the last event HH tried to pull off

...but as the joke goes:

Question
What's the difference between the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Havana?

Answer
At least folks showed up for Hurricane Katrina..
.

I'm all set with Fighting Style.

Regarding HH .... I hate to say it but Sketchy that was a horribly funny joke.

I really think she needs to get some sort of event going or something that will get her stats back up in the public eye. Unfortunately she did have that event that bombed and I'm not sure if it was all due to her having it a non topless event. I'm sure there were many factors which caused this and hopefully she realized this & will learn from mistakes.

Thing is HH was part of a couple great VSL tournaments which were topless ... and saw that she also came east to take part in one or more 'private' wrestling/CF events that were put on now and then by what seemed a real tempermental nutjob who had a few Yahoo groups. I don't know if they still occur or not or if he eventually ended up pissing everyone off, LOL.

I guess this was before HH turned to the Pro Wrestling stuff ? In some of the later posts before Barb's board shut down, I remember her sort of talking down the VSL experiance and the topless wrestling suggestions by some for her own events. I'm wondering if her change in attitude towards the 'amateur' wrestling that lights up most of us had something to do with the low attendance at her own events or was it the other way around - you know, the 'chicken before the egg' thing ... ??

My only quibble with HH, is that I don't mind her having an opinion, positive or negative about any aspect of female fighting. But when she regularly appears in topless, staged videos for Ozone 8 and Double Trouble, it is hard to give her negative comments about those sorts of things any weight. I understand the whole "got to earn a paycheck" thing that I'm sure would be brought up here. But then at least have the decency to qualify or moderate your comments a bit. oh well

I too, saw that they're trying for another WWC. Also saw that Jackpin was contacting Ringmaster about bringing some girls. Do they even have girls anymore? Their website hasn't been updated in nearly a year, and they're still promoting Krissy like she's still with them even though she left nearly three years ago. Hopefully Jackpin will have a decent convention, it would do the fem-fight world some good.

I assume that the clip on Hurricane Havana's web site is from the flop convention. Watching the clip, I'm not in the least surprised that the convention flopped.

Maybe somebody can enlighten me. If you enjoy this sort of show—where fake blondes with breast implants and artificial sun tans throw themselves around in a boxing ring, pretending the other one is doing the throwing—why would you ever watch Hurricane Havana rather than the big-budget TV broadcasts by major wrestling federations? Is it to avoid sifting through all the steroid-injected male fights? That is the only possible reason I can imagine, but that's a problem which could easily be diminished with a purchase of a cheap DVD recorder. Anybody got an explanation?

The question isn't why the audience was so small, it's why there was any audience at all.

For hell's sake, SketcheArtiste, what are you trying to accomplish by transitioning/joining your mention of the upcoming WWC to HH's style (or, according to you, lack of) at a time like this ??? ...

Is that all the hell you're worried about ??? ... Saying how worse off the WWC would be if HH goes and participates ??? ...

Look, your views on HH are well-known to most of us. If that's what you believe about her, then that's what you believe. Likewise for others, but making her the main focus of her style as a Big Detriment to whatever might be planned (pro, pro-am, amateur, rules-enforced catfights, etc.) right now is insane. She has the experience and capability to do a hell of a lot, and don't accuse me of patronizing her. I sure as hell don't nor wouldn't. She just might surprise the hell out of you and a hell of a lot of other people. (To be fair about it, the opposite might happen, which, according to you and others, would be par for the course.) Of course anyone makes his or her own judgements based on someone's past behavior, but getting on her case right now when neither you nor anyone else knows what's coming up at this stage--let alone having seen anything yet--is akin to phucked up forecasting. Here you are making a judgement call based on her past record--nothing wrong using history as a guide to the future--but fail to realize that that isn't necessarily indicative of what she might be doing at, let alone what the full venue of the WWC will be, come showtime. Get off your soap box and hold your peace. Now isn't the time for it. After the WWC is over, well, ... that's different.

Everybody else: Yeah, o.k, o.k.--but all I or anyone can say at this point is: Cut her some slack. The WWC's have been going on for 3 times already and we'll see what HH does. If she does what people want her to do and does it well--instead of what everybody here thinks she'll do--everybody is gonna regret big-time what they originally thought.

I have high hopes for her. We'll just have to wait and see.

I just erased what I wrote because I found the information on the official convention site. It would be better if I could erase this post, but oh well.

I'm not involved in the convention and I doubt I'd ever attend one.
