I still have a bunch of old VHS videos like I figure most of us veteran fans have.
I was just curious what others are going to do with them ... or already have done since VCR's are all but extinct. My DVD player has a VHS player as well but it's been awhile since I've watched anything on it.
I've been thinking about tossing my old VHS collection and judging from past discussions on Barb's old message with some really hard-core collectors, I know my collection is peanuts compared to others.
So, just wondered what some of you have done with your old , extensive VHS collections.
There's a program from HONETECH called VHS to DVD -- I have 3.0 which is old and does not convert files to FLV. -- the newer one does and it is about $40.00 -- It comes with an outfit that you can plug into your VCR and connect to your computer. -- if you have a lap top, you can just plug it in and let it go
-- My collection is such that I transfer **** one by one -- takes longer but it's great to have
As for your old vcr, if it gets tired or breaks down, you can go to a second hand store where they have old vcr's for $10 each
