Anyone here attend and can give some info on what gorgeous ladies paired up and in what type matches ? I'm know the Sybil / Robin match took place as there is a pic of that up on the Convention Site but of course no results of any match listed other than Helen over-matching an opponent ( what else is new ? LOL ) .

There were a lot of 'Thank You' messages and posed pics on the site but nothing that tells who actually wrestled who. I'm sure the DVD's will be available ASAP but I'm curious to who showed up and threw down but not necessarily 'spoiler' results.

Seems from the posts that everyone had a great time and the event was a success !

Can anyone give a quick list of who wrestled who ? Thanks :>)

Well , either the event sucked or this isn't a very popular message board :>/

Back in the day on Barb's board there would have been 90 messages from people within an hour after they arrived home.

There has to be someone who attended the event that visits this place ....

Jim bud, the pro's are already posting about the 2008 WWC and who competed against whom.

The event was a Great Success.

Offhand, aside from what you already know, for more starters, just go to FightingStyle, Robin's site (Les Femmes Fatales) and FemFight Videos.

Thanks, Panther. I knew this would all come out on the individual sites but just wanted a list of who wrestled who so I knew if there was one I was especially interested in, I could go to the particular girls site - like Robin's , but we already knew she was facing Sybil before the event. I didn't know of any others except for the 'challenges' thrown around by Sybil to Havanna, etc It would just be nice to see the schedule of events. So did Havanna take Sybil up on the challenge or was that all just a publicity stunt ?

Thanks for the reply on this ... I'll check out the other sites.

BTW, in looking around for this info I went to FEMWIN site for the first time. I had no idea they had such a great site with so much. For some reason I thought FEMWIN was a contact site for guys looking for sessions .... so I never visited it.

Have you ever had a subscription to the site ? It really looks good.

Hello all,
Your old pal Clopin here, for those of you that used to haunt Barb's boards......
Jim's right, in the old days we were posting details as soon as we got home from the event.  Although Dio is doing a fine job here, I do miss Barb's, especially at WWC time!
I can't tell you all of the matchups as I was all over the place an did miss some of the action.  If you go the to official Yahoo group for the WWC, there are posts in there with a lot of the info you're looking for.

the event was a total sucess.  Jackpin showed that it could be done again and he and his crew pulled it off.  Once it got rolling, it rocked and rolled!!

I haven't seen your name around since Barb's old board ! I had been to the conventions site numerous times the first few days but there was not much posted until now - thanks for the reminder to check it again. Through all the posts and arguing ( just like on Barb's old board , LOL ) I was able to come up with this list of matches that someone posted and others here might be interested in. Kent, I really planned on going but didn't because I'd found out about 2 months ago my Dad would be needing my help back at my parents' home during that time.  He needed some home medical care and my Mom and sisters had some other mandatory family responsibilities to fulfill out-of-town and couldn't be available.  So I was caring for my Dad before, during, and after a while the WWC happened; he's doing much, much better now.

I'll sure as hell do everything I can to attend the next one, though.

The organizers are planning to meet in May to start planning for the next Women's Wrestling Convention for next year.

So I understand there was another convention in Vegas and from the looks of the video on U-tube, Amy O (who seemed to have vanished after some stunning matches with Nadedge) is back on the mat and looking hot as ever.  Does anyone have any info on this Vegas event.  I can tell by the way the women were dressed it might be a bet more along my alley... and it's in Vegas!!
