Study of a catfight enthusiast

Many of you will have already seen this catfight from the Russian version of Big Brother, a "reality show" where a dozen restless youths were locked inside a house and left to psychologically abuse each other while the viewers were voting to evict them one by one. The clip, predating Youtube, is from the era when every spontaneous catfight caught on film was cause to rejoice.

I just watched the clip again and noticed that one of the show's contestants is without a doubt a catfight enthusiast of subtle skills. Observe closely the young man in jeans and a white shirt. As the catfight breaks out and those in the vicinity struggle to separate the two girls, our man in white bursts out in a hurrah, dances a hoedown, and gesticulates as a boxer. The fairer girl in the white skirt is soon led out of the room, but shouts some foul language back at the darker girl, who curses right back at her and bends down to take off her boots. Our guy senses more action is to come and dances a quick jig, before becoming aware that the girl in the pink jacket might be planning to stop the dark wildcat from setting off after her enemy. The interceptor must be obstructed, very calmly taken by the hand and soothed into passivity. As the dark girl runs off, our guy is right at her side in a masculine stride, indicating that he's in full control of the situation, but having no intention whatsoever of stopping her. As the girls go into round two, look at him working audience control, all the while making sure he's in the best position to catch the show.  The end comes much too soon, and he lingers on in the room until all hope is lost. An admirable fellow: One Of Us.

Wow!

I've never actually seen that clip before. But it's really good.

There's something about 'realness' that even though you may see some more controlled (rules) catfights. i.e. produced by a company, which contain better catfight elements than what happens in this fight. The real fight gives you a bigger buzz.

I liked this!
