On Sunday I watched the nasty Giants-Redskins season ender, replete with a number of extracurricular brawls.  Yet when a player got injured his opponents were among those waving help in from the sidelines.  With all the hoopla re: women's MMA, I thought back to Ronda Rousey's comment that she "didn't feel that bad" about breaking Miesha Tate's arm.  With a less-developed conscience than the average heavily concussed NFL thug, would that make Rousey the Gregg Williams of MMA?  Do men find that appealing in a woman?  Not that Tate's any bargain either.  As moderately attractive women who are physically aggressive, the both of them had me at hello.  They lost me in no time.  Now Gina Carano, that's another matter entirely.

Happy New Year, all.

Happy New Year, John.

Womens MMA. It isnt this; its that.

Me, Im about erotic body-to-body with a fighting dominance motif, spiced up with a little faux animosity.

MMA isnt that. Its this other here.

I appreciate Rousey, and Tate for that matter, as dedicated, high performing athletes. But as performers measured only by the erotic  heat they are capable of generating, well, they do not have me at hello or any other word or phrase. I watch them with the same absence of arousal with which I watch a Big Nog match.

Rousey I find very arrogant. Her steadfast refusal, after the inevitable arm bar finish, to face sit or breast smother her defeated opponent, her haughty unwillingness to treat her vanquished foe as her own chew toy for 10 or so minutes of kissing and fondling, I find particularly puzzling as well as galling.

Nor do I care for them punching one another in the face. No woman looks good covered in blood and all bruised. Its ****ed up and they should stop it.

It's of a piece with tattoos.  Been thinking about how to stop it all in a principled way.  For one thing attractive women could be considered what economists call public goods, like landmarked buildings: exterior modifications must enhance the original, not detract from it.  E.g., appropriate breast implants will always be voted on favorably.

For a very sexy armbar plus tons of kissing and fondling, see AX 171 with Ariel B. and Crimson Kang.
